Timothy J. Chavez
Title: Environmental Engineer
Education: M.E., Hazardous Waste Engineering; B.S., Environmental
Engineering.
Experience: Mr. Chavez is an Environmental Engineer with more than 8
years of experience. He has provided technical and project
management oversight for many tribal CERCLA sites located within the 19
Pueblos of New Mexico. Mr. Chavez prepared several technical
documents related to pollution prevention techniques for tribal government
publication. He has also performed oversight for completion of a
cultural assessment determination in California, and has been a field
supervisor for Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (ESA)
in Kansas and Oregon. Mr. Chavez was also involved in the transition
of Tecumseh's contract with U.S. Army Industrial Operations Command to
provide protection and maintenance services for Volunteer Army Ammunition
Plant. He has also worked with a wide variety of drilling and
sampling techniques for both large and small-scale projects. He has
worked with commercial, county, state, tribal, military, and other federal
agencies throughout the continental United States.
