In conjunction with the Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiative, Tecumseh staff prepared and conducted a training course on the Utilization and Disposal of Federal Real Property.  Our Staff developed this extensive training program which included review of the regulations and laws, steps in the disposal process, conflicting interests, and related practical exercises.  This training was provided to realty specialists at all four GSA regional property disposal offices as well as at the national office.

In addition to the utilization-training course, our staff has also provided coordination and scheduling to conduct many Executive Orders Utilization Surveys for GSA and the Coast Guard.  Tecumseh also provided all necessary reports, data input and letters for GSA.  By redefining the goals and processes with these on-site utilization surveys of real property, the team found new ways of accomplishing these time consuming tasks, which significantly reduce opportunity costs (e.g., time spent away from the office for valuable government real estate personnel.)
