Feasibility Studies/Pilot Testing
Prior to implementation of potentially costly remediation techniques, Tecumseh recommends conducting field-scale pilot testing to evaluate the potential effectiveness of a proposed remedial technology under site-specific conditions.  Information generated during the pilot testing often determines treatment well spacing and above-ground capital equipment sizing in the final system design. Our personnel have conducted feasibility studies/pilot testing on over 20 different soil and groundwater contamination sites and are experienced in collecting and analyzing the data needed to make critical decisions in the remedial selection and implementation process.  Proper design and implementation of a pilot test can often save tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars over the life of a project.
